ManyChat Alternatives for Telegram and WhatsApp in 2026
ManyChat is the best-known chat marketing tool for Instagram and Facebook Messenger, and it supports Telegram and WhatsApp too. But its price grows with every active contact, and WhatsApp is only available on its Pro plan and above. If your audience lives in Telegram and WhatsApp, other builders can cost less or fit better. Below are six alternatives that work in both messengers, with prices checked in November 2026.
We make Botmother, so it comes first in the list. Prices of the other tools were checked on their own pricing pages on November 6, 2026. ManyChat and SendPulse block automated visits, so their prices are taken from September–October 2026 reviews. Prices change often — check the vendor’s page before you buy.
Why people look for a ManyChat alternative
In March 2026 ManyChat moved new accounts to new plans priced by active contacts, according to reviews from September–October 2026:
- Free — 25 active contacts, up to two channels out of Instagram, TikTok, Messenger and Telegram;
- Essential — $17/mo for 250 contacts, without WhatsApp;
- Pro — $39/mo for 2,500 contacts, the first plan with WhatsApp;
- Business — $99/mo for 7,500 contacts;
- above the limit, every extra contact is billed separately.
Accounts created before March 2026 stay on the old plans for now and are being moved over gradually. So the more people write to your bot, the more you pay — and a WhatsApp bot starts at $39/mo plus Meta’s message fees.

In short: if you have many contacts and need both messengers, a builder that charges per bot rather than per contact costs the least as you grow. If you need a shared inbox for a support team, look at Respond.io. If you mostly sell through Instagram and Messenger, ManyChat is still a strong choice.
The alternatives in detail
Botmother
Botmother is a no-code chatbot builder: you build one scenario, and the bot works in Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Viber, MAX, VK and on your website at once.
- Pricing: per live bot. The Start plan is $49/mo for one live bot with no limits on users or messages; new users pay $22/mo for the first two months. The Test plan is free with no time limit for building and testing (pricing).
- WhatsApp: connected through Meta’s Cloud API with your own WhatsApp Business account, so Meta bills its message fees to you directly.
- Telegram: broadcasts to bot subscribers without a 24-hour window, payments in Telegram, Telegram Business accounts.
- Also: ChatGPT or any model with an OpenAI-compatible API, Google Sheets, Zapier and Albato, ready-made templates.
SendPulse
SendPulse combines chatbots with email, SMS, a CRM and landing pages — handy if you already run email campaigns there.
- Pricing: by bot subscribers. The free plan covers Telegram and other messengers for up to 500 subscribers and 3 bots, but not WhatsApp. Pro starts at $12/mo for 500 subscribers and is about $48/mo for 5,000 (per October 2026 reviews).
- WhatsApp: on Pro plans; message fees are charged by SendPulse per its own rate card (per October 2026 reviews).
Flow XO
Flow XO is a bot builder with workflow automation and 100+ integrations.
- Pricing: by interactions — one interaction is one start of a flow, not one message. Free: 100 interactions and 5 bots a month. Standard: $25/mo for 5,000 interactions, then $25 for each extra 25,000.
- WhatsApp: through Twilio or 360dialog, which you set up separately.
BotHelp
BotHelp is a messenger marketing builder with funnels, broadcasts and webinar tools.
- Pricing: by subscribers, monthly only: $18 for 1,000, $27 for 2,000, $52 for 5,000, $94 for 10,000.
- WhatsApp: works through 360dialog with an extra $20/mo, but BotHelp’s help center says connecting new WhatsApp channels is temporarily unavailable. Check with BotHelp before choosing it for WhatsApp.
Botpress
Botpress is a platform for AI agents built on large language models rather than a broadcast tool.
- Pricing: by conversations plus AI usage. Free: 100 conversations a month. Plus: $150/mo billed annually, WhatsApp included.
- Telegram: official integration, but the bot can’t start conversations itself — no proactive messages.
Respond.io
Respond.io is a shared inbox for sales and support teams with automation across messengers.
- Pricing: by monthly active contacts and team members. Starter is $99/mo ($79/mo billed annually), plans start at 1,000 active contacts; a 7-day trial.
- Telegram: bots created through BotFather. WhatsApp: Meta’s fees are passed through without markup, according to Respond.io.
WhatsApp only, no Telegram: Chatfuel (from $18/mo billed annually, Meta’s rate plus 10% for WhatsApp messages), Wati (from $59/mo billed annually) and Gallabox (from $112/mo billed annually). They are good WhatsApp tools, but you’ll need a second service for Telegram.
How to choose
- Count your contacts a year ahead. Tools that charge per contact or subscriber get more expensive as your audience grows; per-bot pricing stays the same.
- Check WhatsApp costs separately. Find out which plan unlocks WhatsApp, whether you need a third-party provider (Twilio, 360dialog) and who bills Meta’s message fees.
- Look at Telegram features. Broadcasts, payments and the ability for the bot to message first matter more than the logo in the channel list.
- Build a test bot first. Use a free plan or trial and run the same scenario in both messengers before you move your audience.
You can build a bot for Telegram and WhatsApp in Botmother on the free Test plan: sign up and start with a template or from scratch. For a wider comparison, see the best chatbot builders in 2026.
