In the builder, paste the token in the bot settings. Ready!
Can I edit a bot template?
Yes, of course! You can add, edit, change and delete any components, screens and functions. Rich functionality. Here are some ideas on how to improve the bot ⭐
Use the Botmother Tools
Take the most from the builder — segment the audience with tags, send mailings, configure additional scenarios using events, work with variables, link the bot to other applications with special services-connectors or API requests, and much more.
If you are using a shared Kanban board, then you need to sync. To do this, 2 webhooks (external event) are created in the bot template settings. It's easy and quick!
1. Open the section "Settings" > press "Add event" > fill in as in the picture above: Name "Webhook - update all lists", type "Screen", screen "Receive webhook - update all lists". Save. We have created a new webhook for Kanban board sync. Copy the link (option Properties, Link) and paste on the screen "Send webhook - update all lists", "Request" component, Request URL (instead previous link). Save. 2. Do the same for sync team list. Open the section "Settings" > press "Add event" > fill in as in the picture above: Name "Webhook - delete team list", type "Screen", screen "Receive webhook - delete team list". Save. Copy the link (option Properties, Link) and paste on the screen "Send webhook - delete team list", "Request" component, Request URL (instead previous link). Save.
Some ideas for improving the bot
If you have your own audience or want to launch the bot as a business project, then you can customize the template to suit your style, brand, audience, field of activity, etc.
With the payment components, you can make a paid subscription or receive donations.
The constructor allows you to restrict access to the bot and open it when users perform certain actions. For example, if they subscribe to your channel, group, fill out a questionnaire, apply for an event, etc.
Translate bot or make it multilingual, work in a specific location/geography/market segment, or attract an audience from all over the world.
Create more workspaces and Kanban boards (the default template has one Kanban board with three lists: "Todo", "In Progress", "Done").
Add comments, names, deadlines and other information to tasks.
Send created tasks to other services (Slack, Trello, Jira, Airtable, Google Sheet, database, etc.) and vice versa - receive data from other sources to the bot.
Set reminders for specific tasks.
Set up regular notifications. For example, bot can send a Kanban board into a work chat every Monday at 9:00 am.
Bots can perform 2 roles in a Telegram groups
1. A member: the bot does not read messages, but only responds to quick commands (like /start), template events (like /menu) and replies to its messages. Suitable so that the bot does not interfere with chatting. 2. An admin: bot reads all messages.
